“ DEVELOPED INDIA ” is neither a dream nor mere a vision in the minds of many Indians. It is a mission we all can take up – and succeed at. Adapting the vision and spirit of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, we formed a non- profit organization, Step Up International Trust to contribute to this larger vision in developing India. We believe this vision can be achieved by transforming teenagers, Youth, and Women. For that, we adapted a clear action plan with effective strategies. The major action domains that we focus on to achieve this vision are Education, Women Empowerment, Skill Enhancement of Differently Abled, Entrepreneurship, and Community Upliftment. We believe NGOs can play a key role in transforming society along with initiatives of the Govt. of India.

We have designed projects in the Educational sector to be implemented periodically. Setting up libraries in Govt schools is an active project for promoting lifelong readers and learners. We sponsor children from extremely deprived families and take care of their educational needs. We also give priority to enhancing girl child education. A major activity that we designed in the educational domain is a holistic wellness education program named SAMAGRA. We have designed projects in the Educational sector to be implemented periodically. Setting up libraries in Govt schools is an active project for promoting lifelong readers and learners. We sponsor children from extremely deprived families and take care of their educational needs. We also give priority to enhancing girl child education. A major activity that we designed in the educational domain is a holistic wellness education program named SAMAGRA HOLISTIC WELLNESS PROJECT to foster mental health, emotional health, social health, spiritual health, and intellectual health amongst the younger generation. The curriculum is designed by domain experts, integrating awareness in enhancing EQ, SQ, AQ, CQ & GQ, Which will later prepare them to face real-life challenges and help them to become super successful individuals. In connection with SAMAGRA holistic wellness project, we offer a 6-month training program for unemployed undergraduate and postgraduate women. After the successful completion of the course, we ensure job opportunities for the trained candidates. We also offer capacity-building programs to enhance the efficiency of educators by filling the skill gaps to maintain total quality in education. The shortage of skilled and motivated teachers is the greatest challenge that plagues our education sector. We cannot deny the fact that the development of entrepreneurship has emerged as a national movement to eradicate unemployment and poverty. It has become a powerful source to achieve economic stability of the nation by strengthening the potential of youth and women. Along with various government initiatives and other NGOs we are also very much aware of our responsibility in promoting entrepreneurship in India. We have designed an entrepreneurship development program named "Design your Destiny, an Entrepreneurial Journey" for empowering youth and women. We provide various campus-based capacity building program to enhance the entrepreneurial skills among the youth. We also focus on providing vocational skills as well as entrepreneurial skills to women and promote Micro and Small Medium Enterprises to make every woman economically independent. We believe strengthening a woman strengthens a family.

We address promoting social inclusion by protecting human rights, and skill enhancement of the differently-abled by providing vocational skill training and creating more job opportunities, making them financially independent. We also offer capacity-building programs to enhance the efficiency of educators by filling the skill gaps to maintain total quality in education. The shortage of skilled and motivated teachers is the greatest challenge that plagues our education sector. It is quite familiar that Community upliftment means community empowerment. There are a few sub-domain-based activities we developed under this domain. The projects designed can be implemented with the support of the Central, State governments, Corporate Organisations, and individuals who can support by funding for the successful execution of the project. The main focus of this community upliftment domain is carrying out activities in 6 subdomains which include, Family, Health and wellness, Social, Occupational, Environmental, and Leadership domains. In addition to academic activities and social care activities, our training division organises various capacity building programs in all our major action domains. With proper planning and successful implementation of activities in all the above-mentioned domains, we will be able to bring remarkable changes among individuals and their families. This, in turn, reflects in the reformation of society. Along with the initiatives of the Government, as an NGO we try to contribute in creating a sustainable balanced society based on legitimate rights, equality, justice, honesty, and the culture of service in which all are self-reliant. The strategic and well-planned execution of the projects will bring in a large number of job opportunities. Endeavors of this nature require help from all of you. However small your contribution might be in terms of time, service, or financial aid, it will be accepted and highly appreciated with the deepest gratitude.

Sincerely Yours
