This NGO is developed and registered as a Not-For-Profit Organization for the welfare of the people from the deprived sectors especially for developing and transforming teenagers, youth and women from financially under privileged sectors.People need support and to be trained to practice solution focused approach to problems they face in day today life. Society need more problem solvers. Founder is passionate to involve in activities which empower people to lead a self sustained life.

Founder's Professional Background:

Anitha is having more than a decade experience in education, training and counselling industry. She played her role very effectively as trainer, school counsellor , mentor, teacher, vice principal and Principal. She had given trainings to: MDs, CMDs public sector and Overseas Development & employment Promotion consultants for Govt.of Kerala, [Organized by RIAB], All India Naval school Principals organized by navy education society, CBSE School principals , the sahodaya heads organized by confederation of Kerala Sahodaya school complexes, ICSE school Principals for Independent school management associations.
Anitha conducted more than 200 One day training programs for teachers and students. Experienced in conducting overseas trainings in Sharjah, Dubai and also provided sessions to ministry of education Sultanate of Oman to name a few. During 2013 to 2020 she was actively associated with CBSE as a resource person for various capacity building Programs for teachers including life skills education, value education, CCE, gender sensitivity and Leadership skills. In 2014 she was a centre director for an empanelled agency selected by CBSE and provided various training programs pan India under her leadership.She took a break from principalship due to her busy administrative schedule to complete the course responsibilities of her second post graduation M.Sc in Counselling and Family Therapy. .Out of her passion along with studies she provides freelance training to various organizations ,people and consultation service to many educational institutions.

ADFEE to Step Up International Trust :

The experience she gathered from the education, training and counselling sectors motivated her to start an organisation in 2017 holding a proprietorship licence named Anitha Dileep Foundation for Education and Empowerment (ADFEE), A centre for human resource development, training and transformation. Later decided to broaden the organisational status because of experiencing too much restrictions in organizing and associating with govt. initiated training programs at state, national and international levels . She faced difficulty in getting approval from various state and central ministries in associating as a training partner, according to our state and central govt. policies . Anitha gained advices from govt. officials , NSDC and later decided to start a public charitable trust. That is how she launched Step Up International Trust.
Step Up International Trust is one of the Non- Governmental Not-For-Profit Organization in India. Registered as Public Charitable Trust under the Indian Trust Act . It was established in December 27th 2019 in Kerala and Founded by Anitha Indira Bai . The trust works with a vision of widening services to uplift the community through transforming teenagers, youth and women from financially deprived sectors. Activities are focused in major five domains that include education, skill enhancement of differently abled, women empowerment, entrepreneurship and community upliftment. The trust functions not only at the ground level but also to collaborate with Govt. bodies at local, state and central level . She aims to develop financial independence and empower individuals, families and develop micro, small medium enterprises to create a transformed self-reliant community .

WHY???

Why we have chosen education, women empowerment, skill enhancement of differently abled, entrepreneurship, and community upliftment as our major action domains?

It has been proven over from many researches conducted by MHRD and other ministries of Govt of India, Confederation of Indian Industries, other world wide organisations including UNICEF, World Bank, UNESCO etc specified the role of NGOs in scaling up, expansion and promoting education, women empowerment, entrepreneurship , skill enhancement of differently abled ,community development for developing self sustained communities. Growing expectations of excellence in education, Infra structure development, girl child education, economic and social inequalities ,high drop-out rate are still major issues existing in the education sector. Current scenario of unemployed youth even after holding professional degrees and reality behind lacking economic independence encountered by youth and women can be crushed through developing entrepreneurship and appropriate women empowerment activities . Also there are a group of people they are socially excluded due to the discrimination persisting within the society including tribes, transgenders, differently abled etc. Lack of inclusive development , skill gaps limiting them to actively participate in various social activities . Our mission is to collectively influence the society though various activity initiatives and skill enhancement to create job opportunities to promote self employment.

To overcome the above scenarios we have developed an activity implementation model through community upliftment mission. We have framed quality enhancement measures which can be practiced in the sectors like education, entrepreneurship and other 6 more domains. By designing and delivering high impact programs and partnership with Govt. , Corporates, other private agencies and organisations we can ensure solution to many problems .Providing quality education and creating more job opportunities by promoting entrepreneurship is imperative . This will enhance financial independence and empower individuals, families and develop micro, small medium enterprises . So working in the selected action domains we believe we can work towards fulfilling our vision to create a transformed self-reliant community .
