COMMUNITY UPLIFTMENT

Community upliftment necessarily addresses the physical, intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, cultural, educational, and economic determinants that underpin the mental health of the people in our society. As an NGO our role is to facilitate the empowerment of human beings in our community without any bias and help them to achieve success and happiness and thereby we can contribute to improving the HAPPINESS GROSS INDEX of our country. All of our community upliftment projects are based on understanding the demand from local populations. To better understand the community, we discuss with them their priority problems need to find a solution. Community upliftment is not limited to rural development but also we extend our certain services to urban sectors. We are focusing on six subdomains to execute upliftment activities. All domain-based activities will undertake in rural regions but in urban areas, according to the sector-specific needs, we design a course of action. After implementing activities if needed we improve our approach and action strategies based on the output and impact. We have a trained team of efficient leaders in executing projects. We have a community core center to execute the project activities according to the local requirements. Each community core center and the team will work as per the guidelines given by the Director, Community Upliftment, who is the head of official concern for the state. The performance of the center head, center captains, squad will be monitored and evaluated by our senior HR Specialist team. We have designed this model with an accurate perception to create a society based on legitimate rights, equity, justice, honesty, social sensitivity, and a culture of service In which all are self-reliant. We have a clear leadership structure and a succession plan and route map to make a real difference in society through this community upliftment. Reliable sources of funding, support from the state, central Govt. , corporate sectors and a group of individuals self-motivated in social service are the greatest resources needed for the successful implementation of this model. We have a defined set of verifiable indicators to measure performance against our goals. The six subdomains in which we conduct activities are given below.

1. FAMILY DOMAIN

In this domain, our squad will collect details of all families. We assess their grievances and requirements. The purpose of data collection is to ensure any kind of human rights violation is not happening within the families. Kind of continuous verbal, physical, mental, emotional, sexual abuses to any member in the family especially with children, women, differently-abled, old aged need to be addressed with care and support. Also understand the factors affecting unity, safety, harmony, and prosperity of the family-like dowry related issues, other marital issues, child labor, educational, financial, occupational, and health-related issues have to be sorted out by helping them to find solutions.
In the above cases, we will provide remedial measures mediator support, or counseling assistance based on the nature of issues. The focus is to help families to maintain harmony and peace between family members and their neighborhood. Healthy families only can produce positive people who make positive contributions to society. if we need to create an empowered society first we need to develop empowered individuals. If we need empowered individuals we need to develop empowered families. We design and implement various family empowerment programs in time fame which address and resolve the above issues and further amplify the quality of every family. In connection with activities under this domain, we focus on establishing community counseling centers and appoint community counselors to ensure quality services for the family welfare.

2. HEALTH & WELLNESS DOMAIN

In this domain, We focus on developing a healthier community and productive citizens by bringing changes in their cognitive processes, behavioral processes, physical health, and holistic mental health. To improve the HAPPINESS GROSS INDEX of the nation we need to focus well to improve the EQ, SQ, CQ, AQ & GQ of citizens. Under this Health and wellness domain, we cater to activities in eight dimensions include physical health & wellness, social health & wellness, occupational health & wellness, financial health & wellness, environmental health & wellness, spiritual health & wellness, intellectual health & wellness, and emotional health & wellness. Collaborating with various Govt. and non-governmental organizations and other community resources we organize various mental health services in all the above 8 dimensions. We announce programs in the time frame and have effective social campaigns before implementation.





3. SOCIAL DOMAIN

In this social domain, we focus on inclusive development. Many people are experiencing social exclusion. It is multidimensional more than just material poverty. Facing Social disadvantage and unequal access to things such as education, health care, employment, housing, etc. Individuals are excluded from socially valued resources as a consequence of discrimination. One can be socially excluded in many ways and for various reasons. Finding out the victims, identify reasons, and support them to be a part of Inclusive development is one of the main objectives of this domain. There are a group of people they are socially excluded like women, youth, differently-abled, prisoners and their families, Tribal, Dalit, Muslim, Transgender, etc. Our mission is to collectively influence society through various activity initiatives and spawning awareness for inclusive development and protecting their human rights. Also, we focus on providing vocational skill training, Creating more job opportunities, promoting self-employment, and ensure active participation in various social activities.

4. OCCUPATIONAL DOMAIN

In this domain, we deal with families facing occupational difficulties followed by financial insecurities. Stability in occupation is fundamental to living in a society. Limited socioeconomic circumstances affect a family’s access to basic resources. Occupational and financial instabilities directly affect factors such as Child rearing, difficulty in providing education, mobility, financial management, health management & maintenance, meal preparation, the mental health of family members & lack of recreational involvements. Giving a fish to a man we feed him for a day. Teaching a man to fish we will feed him for life. We too believe in this philosophy and Contributing to creating meaningful lives. Through data collection and after evaluation we fix the category of people who face Unemployment. The youth, women, and especially old aged people who are forced to work for their meal. We need to care for those who once cared for us.
In order to find a solution to financial difficulties and reduce the stress within the family system, we focus on creating job opportunities to make sure healthy occupational engagements are possible within the community. We create an opportunity to collaborate with small scale productions were old aged are engaged in various occupational initiatives in a work from the home pattern and earn. We make sure we empower and create opportunities for women and youth employment by focusing on sustainable agricultural practices, animal husbandry, farming fish, and promoting other self-employment initiatives like rural entrepreneurship programs were women, youth, can actively find and create jobs.

5. ENVIRONMENT DOMAIN

The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it. We need to take action before it gets too late to fix anything. Developing a healthy supportive neighborhood and physical environment through appreciative community building in every Panchayath is our mission. Preserving and protecting the local heritages, monuments, traditions, nature and natural resources are the focus of this domain. We create a team of Retd. Sr. engineers who are willing to provide volunteer support and we call them community engineers. Along with our team, they will execute domain based activities by our NGO. As per our policies along with the organizational initiatives we can collaborate with Govt. local bodies in achieving certain goals matching to this domain.
The advancement of the environment for holistic living is the major concept of this domain. Some of our activities include housing for the extremely poor. Managing water resources, water retention basins, planting trees, sustainable agricultural practices, developing Parks, playground, Samskrithi Kendra, Fitness center, CCTVs surveillance to ensure safety, Recreation center, Play School, Pain Palliative centers, Public library, Animal care Units, Waste management units, Biogas Plants, landscaping for maintaining heritage centers, Various Farming Units, Women cell, vocational skill training units, community counseling centers, etc. We Seek support from govt. corporates, a group of individuals who are ready to support us in this opening- move. There is immense power when a group of people with similar interests get together to work towards the same goals.

6. LEADERSHIP DOMAIN

Achieving outcomes in community development requires strong leadership supported by a super-strong participant base. Behind every successful strategy, there will be a road map towards the right direction followed by strong leadership. Through participating in Samagra, holistic wellness project, and Sanskriti center activities adolescents and youth get a lot of opportunities to practice leadership skills. Our entrepreneurship development program nurtures women and youth leaders through various entrepreneurial initiatives. We focus on developing leadership by leadership skill development programs and many are associating with this community upliftment mission volunteers, students who do an internship with us, center captains, squad members, mentors, community counselors, women and youth who take part in each and every initiatives as part of this mission they develop their self in terms of acquiring knowledge, skills, attitude and imbibing values and they get ample opportunities to develop, practice and exhibit their leadership abilities.


There will not be any gender-based bias in allocating responsibilities. They get the opportunity to practice many life skills like Decision Making, Problem Solving, Self-awareness, effective communication, Managing interpersonal relationships, Team Building, Conflict Resolution, Innovative Thinking, Lateral Thinking, handling stress, through Training and practically undertaking various responsibilities and serving the community as a reputational leader. Thereby they become capable to play the role of a leader who practices the role of a transformed Visionary Motivator, Measured connector, Tenacious Implementer, and thoughtful architect who devotes themselves to serve their community and well being of the people.
